The Shooting of New Year Fireworks @ Ikano 2006

Its a very special day for me to do fireworks shooting, it is my first time, lots of preparation are done, especially on testing my digital camera capability to low light shoot long opened shuttle enviroment.

The very first thing i need to do is to .. erm, find location. hmm… after serveral hours of "google earthing", i found serveral spot to shoot fireworks at KLCC, either in Panchala link highway toll, Dynasty Hotel, KLCC Lakeside… well nevermind, i ended up at IKANO Anyway.. :p

I arrive at the curve about 9 something with a Munfai, Wenwei & .. .. Its hot,there is a stage, many people gathering around to have fun games with Dj’s, but that just had nothing to do with me :p

Still kinda long way to go till midnight, i decided to have a drink at McD, but..OMG, look at it!, Full house!!! @#!$@#@#1

By 11:30, i went to my Shooting Spot. Initially i think i’m the only one who is stupid enough to stands at a construction hill site to watch fireworks; i parked my car there earlier and look what i discover at that time??i’m not alone!!whole bunch of car parking, DOUBLE parking !!! and a whole bunch of people, picknicking, standing, chatting, ..omg, do i still have place for my camera?

Looking at my watch displaying 11:55, i’m getting nervous, and excited, my hand just can’t get of the camera, just don’t want to miss the first shot!, after a while, here it comes!

A big puff of smoke over the skies, Horey, finally everyhting its over! Happy New Ye………Boom …… Holy, there is a suprise fireworks just about 20 feet infront of me(blind me, i didn’t notiec that the platform was there all the time). It is so close until my camera cannot able to get a full view of it.

After the fireworks, i went back to ikano to join the events. It seems everyone is having fun around~

And lastly, OM_G, jamz! :’( anyway, i manage to get out of there in just 6 minutes. how? kekekeke, gostan, pusing balik, go inverted way, turn out to LDP, and done. gao dim.

Today my dog just passed away, kinda sad. can’t believe it was so soon, it was so active this noon.   

yo yo! hmm, what i learned today? iptables! oh yea! screw up serveral times with emerge hosting in the office today :p

no la.. not really screw up, just getting big chunk of mess around me, glad to know what the heck is iptables, its so easy to use! well, learned a hack today, erm, exploit actually. anyone knows Runtime.exec ("iptables -F") anyway? :p

well today caught in the rain while walking back home. damn….

yo yo!, i just got my new camera fuji finepix E550, at RM 1890 512MB, i don’t know it is a good deal or not, all i know is i like it so much. look at that! 640×480x30fps + PASM + Super CCDHR!

Now i’m playing with it. really fun with it!

Ho yeah!, just back from TimeSquare, i had a very fun time there, i learned some colour change and some props working principles. anyway i purchased a D’lite, i hope it is not as disapointed as it is, the colour doesn’t match well :S

I went to mykamera to get my camera back, sadly they said it was still under repair, awaiting spare parts. ish..hate it..need to wait till end of april!

Anyway regarding the camera E550, its superb, i wanna get that, but with a 512mb ram will cost me 2K….. !@&#(!
